Budget and Finance Committee meeting fails to reach agreement on expenses issue

The Budget and Finance Committee failed Monday to reach an agreement on the expedited draft law aiming at approving extra funds to cover the 2012 expenses.

Following the meeting, the head of the committee, Ibrahim Kanaan, explained that the draft law was not approved due to a lack of consensus between both rival parties in this regard.
