Sheikh Kassem: Hezbollah ready to confront challenges

Hezbollah's Deputy Chief Sheikh Naim Kassem said Sunday that Hezbollah is way stronger today and is ready to confront the challenges for it is committed to “raising the banner of sacrifice”, underlining that his party has freed Lebanese territories in 2000 and also achieved a glorious victory in 2006.

Sheikh Kassem also warned, during the first conference on the Islamic Awakening held in Tehran, against igniting national or sectarian strives between Shia and Sunni for they would hinder Islamic awakening.

Sheikh Kassem stressed that the peoples of Palestine, Egypt, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Turkey are in need of wise leaderships that can clearly set their mechanism, goals and priorities so that they will not fade with time.
