Rai rejects regional violence

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai headed the Sunday Mass at the patriarchal summer seat of Deeman in presence of high-ranking clergymen and politicians.

In his sermon, Rai seized the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to extend greetings to Lebanese Muslims and their coreligionists Worldwide.

The patriarch outright rejected political and sectarian violence currently sweeping the Middle Eastern region.
