He killed his mother then committed suicide

Citizen Moufid Abou Jaoudeh, shot his mother Melvina Moussa (born in 1920) using a hunting weapon, killing her and leading him to shoot himself in Jouret el-Ballout.

Sources told LBCI that after the mayor heard the bullet sound, he heard Moufid asking for help. Then he rushed to his place where he found Moufid shot in his abdomen by an old hunting weapon and beside him his dead mother.

Security forces in Broumana launched investigations in the case in order to reveal the circumstances of the incident.
