Parliament holds legislative session on electricity plan

Speaker Nabih Berri will chair a legislative session late Thursday morning to discuss the electricity draft law that would boost power by 700 MW. The session will address the electricity draft law to which the cabinet’s resolution will be included, as agreed upon Wednesday by the parliament’s joint committees.

Berri met with Change and Reform Bloc Leader MP Michel Aoun in his office in the parliament before the Thursday session.
