Abadi stresses on political solution for the Syrian crisis

Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roken Abadi stressed Thursday on the need for a political solution to the Syrian crisis stressing that lack of outer interference should go hand in hand with that proposal.

Abadi noted after a meeting with the Change and Reform Bloc Chief MP Michel Aoun in Rabieh on Thursday that consensus all gathered on the general principles of a cessation of violence and bloodshed in Syria following the Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement and the quartet meeting in Cairo.
