Kanaan: the government's borrowing must be controlled

Amid the continuation of the finance committee's study of the current year's draft budget at parliament, chief of the committee MP Ibrahim Kanaan emphasized the importance of the government's need to adopt appropriate borrowing measures based on the law.

He also warned of skipping the constitutional deadlines in preparing next year's budget.

Kanaan pointed out that he will be scheduling a session to discuss the financial accounts, and the government's study of these accounts.
