State Security arrests 5 persons for theft and other offenses

The General Directorate of the State Security arrested on Friday 3 Lebanese persons and another offender of Palestinian origins in North Lebanon whilst in the act of stealing artifacts.

Detainees were referred to the judicial authority upon the request of the Financial Attorney Judge Ali Ibrahim.

In another incident, State Security arrested 2 persons in Bekaa as they were implementing illegal spying devices using the Syrian wireless network.

Security forces took control of the used devices, handing them over to judicial authorities.
