Jumblatt: Delays in decreasing officials' wages will increase the community gap
The head of National Struggle Front MP Walid Jumblatt said on Monday that delays in launching the program of administrative reform in public administrations and councils will lead to aggravating the current situation of the public sector.

"Each delay in decreasing the wages of deputies, ministers, and officials will deepen the gap between the Lebanese citizens and the Lebanese political community", he added.

In his weekly stance to al-Anbaa newspaper Jumblatt mentioned that postponing bringing in electricity-generating ships or disengaging offers to build new power plants as well as allowing the private sector of employing its assets and investing them in the electricity sector will cause an increase of the current electricity crisis.

"Putting off the formulation of a comprehensive vision to adjust corruption in administrative sites will intensify financial issues in the country", Jumblatt concluded.
