Introduction to the evening news 15-10-2012

Despite all the measures taken, the persistent scandal in Roumieh prison did not reach its end yet.

Such measures were already taken before without yielding tangible results; the situation kept on deteriorating and reached its peak point when prisoners escaped through the main door.

This scandal will be discussed in the Cabinet's session on Wednesday; originally allocated for funding the series of ranks and salaries which is still trapped in a vicious circle.

The Cabinet will also be discussing Hezbollah's "Ayoub" spy drone sent to Israel.

As for the Syrian file, the UN special envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi is still discussing solutions for the crisis in various countries.

He denied on Monday from Baghdad the claims reporting that he had proposed sending UN peacekeeping forces to the Syrian territories.
