Jarrah: Verbal commitments no longer enough

Future bloc MP Jamal Jarrah said that verbal commitments are no longer enough; the promises of funding the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) should be put into practice, proving that the cabinet is committed to the STL and does not want to put Lebanon on a collision course with the international community.

Jarrah told Voice of Lebanon radio station that he called on PM Najib Mikati to agree with his allies on the correct political formula that will put an end to this crisis.

“March 14 leadership holds regular meetings during which many issues such as the STL, the electoral law and political events are tabled”, Jarrah said.
