Alfa launches a new line for military members, grants them an 80% discount

Alfa telecom company launched on Tuesday from Milad Naddaf military barrack in Amchit the new mobile lines specified for Lebanese military personnel.

Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehnaoui, Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn , Army Commander Jean Kahwaji’s representative and a number of officers and Lebanese figures attended the launching ceremony.

Sehnaoui explained that this new service assures for military members an 80% discount on their phone calls, stressing that “the Lebanese soldiers and officers deserve even more for their sacrifices.”

For his part, Ghosn stressed that “this initiative aims at proving that the Lebanese Army that protects this country and its residents deserve to be appreciated.”

The Navy Seals soldiers performed combat exercises during the ceremony.
