EDL contract workers and employees stage protest

Contract workers and employees of Électricité Du Liban held on Wednesday a strike at the company’s centers to call for their rights.              

The protesters warned the administration against delaying, wasting time and ignoring the demands, stressing the need to finalize the issue before "it is too late."            

[On Monday, Électricité Du Liban union convened to raise the demands of employees and their rights. These demands include promotion, overtime, daily rest hours, transportation allowance per kilometer, and revenues for collecting the bills and tax revenues.]
