ISF: No noteworthy security incidents reported on New Year Eve

The security forces said on Saturday that no noteworthy security incidents were reported in the country after the end of the New Eve.

In terms of road accidents, an accident took place in the Jounieh locality and resulted in the death of a woman who succumbed to her injuries at dawn today 1/1/2022.
There were also two slight injuries reported.

As for the stray shooting occurrences, one person was injured in the locality of Ard Jalloul / Tariq Al-Jadida.

So far, 120 suspects have been identified for firing in the air, and efforts are underway to apprehend them in collaboration with the competent judiciary.

The security forces called on citizens to send documented information about the shooters (photos or videos), through the website of the Internal Security Forces or through the ISF pages on social media platforms, with the understanding that the identity of those who sent the information would remain anonymous.
