Land Transportation Unions and Syndicates in Lebanon strongly denied on Tuesday circulating news about attempts to find solutions to the current crisis or contacts made to halt or cancel tomorrow’s strike.
They also highlighted in a statement that “they are determined to move on with tomorrow’s strike on all Lebanese territories and on the largest scale possible.”
“No calls were made especially that Prime Minister Najib Mikati and 8 ministers are currently out of the country,” the statement explained.
The Unions and syndicates also mentioned in the statement that “they will not suspend the strike unless the Cabinet approves the articles that were agreed on during the meeting with PM Mikati on the 26th of October 2020.”
