Patriarch Rai delivers Easter sermon

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai stressed on Sunday that reforms in Lebanon must be accompanied by the extension of the state's authority over all its lands, the unification of arms and decision-making, and the adoption of strategic alternatives that strengthen Lebanon's relations with its neighbors.

Rai’s comments were made during his Easter sermon at Bkerke, where he mentioned that it is necessary to respect the sovereignty of Gulf countries in addition to good relations with them, and to put an end to campaigns against them, especially since these campaigns serve the interests of foreign countries rather than Lebanon's.
