Two security meetings were held on Friday at the Ministry of Interior, following a series of bank storming operations by depositors.

Caretaker Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi stressed that the aim of these meetings is to protect the country, maintain security and protect depositors, noting that the depositors cannot recover their rights in this way, as it is against law.

“We are with you and we want to protect you, the country and the system,” Mawlawi pointed out.
