Mikati: We have made progress in demarcation dossier and pledge to move forward with all reforms
Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Miakti stressed on Thursday on Lebanon's absolute adherence to its sovereignty, rights and wealth in its territorial waters and economic zone, expressing desire to reach a negotiated solution with Israel regarding the demarcation of the maritime borders.

Mikati’s comments were made during a speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York whereby he revealed that there has been a concrete progress in this regard.

As for the International Monetary Fund, he noted that the Lebanese government had signed a preliminary agreement with the Fund, and pledged to move forward with all the necessary legislative and administrative reforms to exit the current ordeal.
