Sleiman discusses storm effects with various Lebanese officials

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman met on Monday with the Army Commander General Jean Kahwaji as well as the Minister of Transportation and Public Works Ghazi Aridi and the Minister of Interior Marwan Charbel.

The officials briefed the President on the measures taken in order to reduce the harm of the storm striking Lebanon.

In this context, Sleiman called on concerned apparatuses to cooperate in opening the roads and aiding citizens.

Separately, a delegation from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine visited Sleiman and discussed with him the condition of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon as well as the condition of Palestinians who were recently displaced from Syria's Yarmouk camp.
