Wahhab: Proportionality electoral law represents all parties

Head of the Arab Tawhid Party Wiam Wahhab said on Monday that the relation with President Bashar Assad is different since it is political and strategical regarding a political plan for the entire region.

Wahhab said that "he who is waiting for the downfall of the Syrian regime is mistaken and added that despite facing major powers such as America and Israel, the Syrian regime will not fall".

Regarding his party's participation in the coming parliamentary elections, Wahhab said that he has candidates for all parliamentary seats and added that the means upon which the electoral work is being conducted is "a waste of time".

"If electoral bodies are not invited to the elections before the 19th of March the elections will be postponed until summer or even more," Wahhab said.

Wahhab pointed out that he is with the law of proportionality since it represents all parties.
