Aswad: Cabinet’s days are numbered

Change and Reform bloc MP Ziad Aswad told Voice of Lebanon radio station that the bloc is against funding the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) whether the issue is put to a vote or not.

“We are not seeking to find an exit and we will not waste our time searching for one. We will leave the task up to the cabinet that is divided into two camps. If PM Mikati chooses to fund the STL so be it, but we will choose the cabinet”, Aswad said.

Aswad stressed that the current cabinet’s days are numbered, adding that no political crisis will emerge if the government collapses or resigns.
