National Mourning Day at UNESCO

Women's Associations celebrated on Saturday the National Mourning Day at UNESCO, in protest of the abuses committed against the Lebanese citizen, especially women, calling for laying the foundations of equality among the Lebanese people in terms of granting the Lebanese woman the right to pass her nationality to her children.

It is noteworthy that the law that protects Women from domestic violence is still unapproved, alongside the law pertaining to a fair election, while there is a lack in providing basic services, as the issue of the Pay Scale is still unsettled amid the spread of corruption in the Lebanese Sate.
