Lebanon denounces civilian targeting, urges halt to hostilities

In a press release following the recent incident on Majdal Shams in the occupied Golan Heights, the Lebanese government condemned "all acts of violence and aggression against all civilians."

It called "for an immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts."

The press release added: "Targeting civilians is a flagrant violation of international law and goes against the principles of humanity."
