UNIFIL rejects Israeli army's evacuation request along Blue Line: LBCI source

A UNIFIL source confirmed to LBCI that the Israeli army requested the evacuation of certain positions along the Blue Line. However, UNIFIL declined the request and opted to remain in its positions.

The source added that the positions the Israeli army requested to be evacuated are located in the western, central, and eastern sectors of the border area.

"We have not moved from these positions despite the difficulties we face in monitoring operations," the source said.
