Independent Christian officials to cooperate with March 14 forces

Independent Christian political figures said on Tuesday that they will be cooperating with the March14 forces in regards to naming a new prime minister to head a neutral cabinet that works on ratifying a new electoral law.

The officials who met at the office of MP Boutros Harb decided to consult their allies along with President Michel Sleiman to agree on a stance in regards to submitting their candidature applications for the upcoming parliamentary elections, taking into account the importance of amending the current electoral law and avoiding the dangers of a political void at the level of constitutional institutions.
