Abboud to LBC: No one is keen on Mikati more than us, STL will not stop
Tourism Minister Fadi Abboud said on Wednesday that whether Lebanon funds the STL or not, the Tribunal’s work will not be affected, confirming that “the STL is pressing on with its work and no one is against justice”. He added “for those who are convinced that the Tribunal will lead us to justice, let them wait.”

Abboud told Nharkom Saiid TV show that “the position of the Change and Reform bloc is clear with regards to the unconstitutionality of the STL.”

Commenting on MP Michel Aoun’s attack against PM Najib Mikati, Abboud confirmed that “no one is keen on Mikati more than the Change and Reform bloc”, adding that the bloc wants the prime minister to put his foot down at the expense of  others.

Commenting on Speaker Nabih Berri’s call for dialogue, Abboud stressed that Berri is “the man of impossible missions”, confirming that “there is no alternative to dialogue”. Abboud warned that Lebanon is following the path of Greece after a deficit increase by $600 million in one month.
