Huge carrot found in Akkar valley

The head of the Klayat-Akkar municipality, Ahmad Ibrahim, displayed on Thursday a huge carrot found in his cultivated land in the Akkar valley, noting that the carrot measures at nearly 130 cm.

In this regard, the son of the head of municipality, Barakat Ahmad, said that the size of such carrots deems the produce undesirable, consequently affecting sales. He called on the Ministry of Agriculture to compensate their losses.
