REPORT: Caretaker Minister Bassil meets with Saudi envoy
                    
Caretaker Minister of Energy Gebran Bassil met on Tuesday with Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Assiri at the Saudi embassy in Beirut.         

Following the meeting, ambassador Assiri asserted that the Saudi Kingdom stands "at the same distance from all parties."           

Ambassador Assiri added that the Saudi kingdom encourages coexistence among the Lebanese people.                

For his part, Caretaker Minister Bassil said that he encourages "any consensual step that highlights coexistence between different Lebanese factions."
