Israeli army claims striking Hezbollah sites in South Lebanon

The Israeli army claimed Wednesday it carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in South Lebanon, according to spokesperson Avichay Adraee.

In a post on X, Adraee said, “The Israeli army just struck a Hezbollah site in the village of Ansariyeh in South Lebanon that was being used to store engineering equipment intended for the group’s reconstruction efforts and to advance ‘terrorist’ plans.”

He added, “The Israeli army also struck a Hezbollah rocket launcher in Jebbayn.”

Adraee noted that, “The presence of the engineering equipment and the rocket arsenal that were targeted constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon, and the Israeli army will continue to act to remove any threat against Israel.”
