Israel claims strikes on alleged Hezbollah weapons sites in Bekaa and south Lebanon, army spokesperson says

The Israeli army claimed on Monday that it had struck what it described as infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanon’s Bekaa and southern regions, including a site allegedly used for producing and storing “strategic weapons.”

According to a statement by army spokesperson Avichay Adraee, the attacks targeted several Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon and Nabatieh, as well as a facility in the Bekaa that was “involved in weapons production and storage.”

Adraee alleged that one of the southern sites was used to launch rockets toward Israel and that “Hezbollah activity” had been observed there in recent months.

He further claimed that Hezbollah continues to rebuild what he called “assets” across Lebanon, accusing the group of violating understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
