Security forces thwart attempt to smuggle narcotic pills via Beirut airport

Airport security forces thwarted on Friday an attempt to smuggle narcotic pills from Lebanon into Kuwait.

The security forces apprehended a Syrian national, 21, with 5 kilograms of narcotic pills packed inside his bags.

The pills were seized and the man was arrested and referred to the anti-drugs unit to launch investigations in this regard.
