Development and Liberation bloc gears up for parliamentary session

House Speaker Nabih Berri led the Development and Liberation bloc’s meeting during which major issues were tackled, mainly the country’s social and economic affairs, and those related to the citizens’ living conditions.

The bloc also discussed the agenda of the Wednesday’s parliamentary session, and took decisions as to the items included in the agenda.

Berri also sent a letter to Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas congratulating him on Palestine’s full membership at the UNESCO.
