Iraq opens office in Beirut to oversee reconstruction projects in Lebanon

A dedicated office was inaugurated at the Iraqi embassy in Beirut to monitor the implementation of Iraq’s contribution to Lebanon’s reconstruction projects.

An Iraqi embassy source told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that the new office will handle technical and administrative supervision of projects funded by Iraq, aiming to accelerate progress and ensure timely execution.

Earlier, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani announced a $20 million contribution to Lebanon’s reconstruction.
