Lebanese Army deploys to reopen Qasmiyeh Bridge after Israeli strike

The Lebanese Army said a specialized unit is working to fully reopen the Qasmiyeh Bridge in South Lebanon following damage caused by an Israeli strike on April 16.

The army said the operation is being carried out in coordination with local municipalities and civil society organizations to restore access to the key link near Tyre.

It added that a military unit has been deployed in the vicinity of the bridge to secure the area as work continues.
