Hit-man kills Lebanese expatriate in Germany

Lebanese national living in Germany Jamal Al Mourtadi, 41, was killed under mysterious circumstances three days ago. The crime was executed by a masked hit-man who barged into a restaurant named “Aladdin” owned by the deceased in the city of Dublin near Saxony, in East Germany. The hit-man shot Jamal four times with one bullet to the chest, another in the neck, a third one in the right eye and the fourth and last in the left eye.   

The police classified the case as a “professional homicide”, adding that preliminary investigations have revealed that a hit-man was used, however the motives are still unknown, given that the murder did not leave any messages or fingerprints behind.

Furthermore, the German police questioned a number of witnesses who confirmed that the murderer had a hood on and entered the restaurant at 8 p.m. and then left shortly thereafter. However, they did not notice a vehicle waiting outside the crime scene and were unable to recover a plate number which would have served as a preliminary clue to help the police in its investigations.

Jalal Al Mourtadi was planning to visit Lebanon this month, 25 years after his absence. He was married to a Russian native with whom he has a five-year old son named Mohammad Daniel.
