UN envoy begins visit to Israel to discuss ceasefire stability

The United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, began an official visit to Israel on Sunday, where she is scheduled to meet with senior Israeli officials.

According to a statement from her office, the discussions will focus on opportunities to reinforce the cessation of hostilities and pave the way toward lasting stability in Lebanon and northern Israel.
