Five towns in South Lebanon warned to evacuate by Israeli army

The Israeli military on Friday issued an urgent evacuation warning to residents in several towns and villages in South Lebanon, including Aaramta, Machgharah, Kfar Houneh, Sejoud and Ansariyeh.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the warning was issued "in light of Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire agreement," claiming that Israeli forces are being compelled to operate against the group.

Adraee stated that the Israeli military "does not intend to harm civilians" and urged residents of the targeted areas to evacuate their homes immediately and move north of the Zahrani River.
