Israeli army seizes control of several government buildings linked to Hamas in Gaza Strip

On Tuesday, the Israeli army declared its control over several government buildings affiliated with the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, as the continuous fighting between the two sides has intensified since October 7.

The army affirmed in a statement that its forces "seized the Hamas parliament (the Legislative Council), the government building, the police headquarters, and an engineering college, which served as an institute for weapons production and development."
