Israeli army confirms the capture of the director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza and says that he is under investigation by the Shin Bet

The Israeli army confirmed the capture of the director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, Muhammad Abu Salmiya, on Thursday and stated that he is currently under investigation by the Shin Bet, Israel's internal security agency.

The circumstances following the arrest claim "evidence showing that the hospital, under his direct management, served as a Hamas command and control center."
