Foreign Minister: Iran's response will be swift if Israel takes retaliatory action

Iranian state media quoted Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian as telling his British counterpart on Monday that Iran does not seek increased tensions but will respond immediately and with greater force than before if Israel retaliates.

Iran launched drones and missiles at Israel late on Saturday in response to an attack on its embassy in Damascus, raising fears of a wider regional conflict amid the war in Gaza.
