US warplanes attack Houthi targets in Yemen: Pentagon

U.S. warplanes staged multiple strikes Saturday night against Iran-backed Houthi advanced weapons storage facilities in Yemen, the Pentagon said.

The weapons were being used to attack military and civilian vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, a U.S. defense official told AFP on background.
