Explosions were heard in the Syrian capital Damascus and its ⁠surrounding areas, state TV al Ekhbariyah reported on Wednesday, adding that ⁠the blasts were likely caused ⁠by Israeli air defenses ⁠intercepting Iranian ⁠missiles.
