REPORT: Homs two years into the conflict

Homs, a large city in Western Syria, is of a great importance since it is the central link between the interior cities and the Mediterranean coast.

The Syrian army launched, in February 2012, a widespread military operation in the city whereby it controlled Baba Amro and the surrounding neighborhoods.

This report will shed light on the two-year-old Syrian conflict and will provide a closer look at the raging battles between the Syrian regime forces and the rebels.
