REPORT: Lebanese leaders tackle file of LAF Commander's term

Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Major General Jean Kahwagi's term will end in September amid fears of vacuum in the leadership of the military institution due to disputes on naming a new commander.

Military sources told LBCI that decision in this regard was postponed until after the meeting of the Higher Council of Defense set to convene on Monday.

This report will shed light on the efforts deployed by the Lebanese political leaders to avoid vacuum in the leadership of the LAF Command.
