REPORT: Investigations carry on in gun crime that reaped the life of 22-year-old Nadine Zahran

Conflicting reports emerged on Tuesday following the crime that rocked the Sarba region of Ain Bzil on Monday afternoon.

In the details, unidentified assailants fired gunshots at citizen Nadine Fouad Samara Zahran (22 years) as she was getting into her 4x4 white vehicle with plate number 434217/G.

Nadine was directly transported to the Our Lady of Lebanon Hospital where she succumbed to her wounds.

As for the investigations, sources told LBCI that the Information Branch heard the testimonies of Nadine’s parents who said that they were all away from home when the crime occurred.

The sources added that unknown assailant attempted to set the car of Nadine’s sister, Darine ablaze almost one month ago in the same region.

As well, sources told LBCI that Rabih H., the fugitive suspect in the murder, was imprisoned in the past for the possession of drugs.

In the same context, Al-Joumhouria newspaper reported on Tuesday that the bullet that targeted Nadine is a 10 mm bullet, probably similar to those used in military weapons.

It is worth noting that Nadine is married to Mansour Zahran whom she had one child with. Both she and her husband were living with her parents in Sarba awaiting the completion of their house in Damour.
