REPORT: Slavery affects around 30 million people worldwide

Hundreds of children in India are forced to work in quarries for eighteen hours per day, seven days a week, without pay.

Elsewhere in Bangladesh slavery takes another forms, where daughters are sold to brothels in exchange for money, and are forced to have sexual intercourse with older men.
