REPORT: Tripoli’s Christmas tree repaired as 2 Jabal Mohsen residents come under attack

The Christmas tree of Tripoli’s al-Bahsas region is being repaired after it was partially burned due to a short circuit, residents reported.

Earlier, reports said that unknown assailants set on fire a Christmas tree on Tuesday night in the region of al-Bahsas in the northern city of Tripoli.

The tree was set up and decorated by the city’s municipality.

On another note, citizens Samer al-Aswad and Haidar Seyfan from Tripoli’s Jabal Mohsen were shot by unknown assailants on Wednesday morning in the region of al-Baddawi.

The injured, one hit in the stomach, while the other in the leg, were rushed to Zgharta hospital for treatment.
