REPORT: Change and Reform bloc ministers speak from Rabieh following cabinet formation

Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil said the new government aims to pave the way for holding the upcoming presidential elections on time, hoping that oil decrees will be approved "since it is a strategic matter for Lebanon".

Speaking from Rabieh following the declaration of the new cabinet, Bassil said that this government should maintain security and stability and manage the Lebanese people's affairs.

In turn, Energy and Water Minister Arthur Nazarian hoped the government's work will continue as per the concepts of the Change and Reform bloc.

For his part, Culture Minister Rony Arayji said that the Marada Movement openly participates in the government.

Education Minister Elias Bou Saab expressed gratitude to MP Michel Aoun’s trust, noting that a huge responsibility awaits him at the education ministry.
