REPORT: Media report says Tehran, Moscow boosted support for Syria

The Syrian regime would have fallen had it been for the military assistance offered by Tehran for the Syrian army.

According to the British newspaper Telegraph, Iran and Russia have been boosting their support to Syria, noting that the increase in assistance reportedly coincided with the peace talks at Geneva II, allowing the government to attend the negotiations with sufficient confidence in its military capability that it did not feel the need to make concessions.
