REPORT: Closer look on Saudi Hezbollah al-Hejaz group

Hezbollah al-Hejaz is an armed organization operating in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.

It is a Shiite organization founded in 1987 in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.

On 25 June 1996, members of Saudi Hezbollah carried out an attack on the Khobar Towers housing complex near Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, killing 19 US servicemen and one Saudi citizen, and wounding 372 others of many different nationalities.

This report will shed light on the Saudi Shiite armed organization.
